    Plan's work to promote child rights and lift millions of girls and boys out of poverty is based on eight core areas. Plan’s strategy emphasizes community engagement and ownership as the means to address the needs of children around the world.



    Plan recognizes that no child lives in isolation, and for the child to truly benefit in any meaningful way, the basics of a stable and healthy community must come first. Plan is dedicated to working directly with children, their families and communities in devising, implementing and evaluating development projects that provide long lasting improvements.
